Ted Pelton is founder and publisher of Starcherone Books, and the author of 4 published books, most recently Bartleby, the Sportscaster (Subito Press, 2010). A new book, in manuscript, The Trickster Woodchuck, has been a 2013 finalist for the FC2/Catherine Doctorow Prize and the Leapfrog Fiction Prize. Excerpts have appeared in Brooklyn Rail, The &Now Awards (vol.1), Altered Scale, Gargoyle, webdelsol, etc. He lives in Buffalo, NY, where he is a Professor of Humanities at Medaille College, husband, and father of two girls.
