Front Ranges: Hybrids and Collaborations Up and Down the Front range

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Colorado Renaissance? New wine in old bottles? Burgeoning writing programs, reading series, performance communities? Whatever's going on, up and down the Front Range, it increasingly takes the form of exploratory collaborations and hybrid acts. What's surprising is the incredible range that this exhibits: uncreative writing, radical appropriation, new media, engagement with other arts as various as dance, painting, serial music, performance/installation. For this reading, we bring together writers and artists living in the area, each of whom demonstrate that the full range of hybridity and collaboration are a necessary stay against confusion. The list contains, if not multitudes, a healthy sampling of the experimental brio of this dynamic place.
